Classic and Russian lashes are showing no sign of waning in popularity – many young ladies now consider their lashes and infills of their Classic and Russian lashes a regular part of their beauty routine and as a result, more makeup artists and beauticians are looking to train in lash extensions!
What does lash training involve?
Our two day training courses cover both Classic and Russian lashes – many courses only covering one style, with extra costs involved in learning both.
During this intensive training you will learn how to perfectly adhere single semi-permanent lashes to the natural lash without causing damage to the natural lashes.
Russian lashes are thicker and fuller, giving a more dramatic look that the Classics. While Classics used to be more popular, more women are now asking for Russian lashes – because, no let’s face it, no woman ever said ‘My lashes are too long!’ did they?
How much can I earn after training in lashes?
Most lash technicians charge in the region of £40-75 for first-time lashes, and around £20-40 for infills.
This equates to around £35-45 per hour. As the lashes need to be infilled every few weeks, this means once you have built a customer base they are likely to come back on a regular basis long term!
