We help men and women transform themselves and their careers.

With the world seeming to edge closer and closer to a new normal every passing day, we are all starting to reflect on what we’ve learnt from life in lockdown.

It seems many of us have been trying to put the sudden abundance of time to good use, with isolation acting as a catalyst for the learning of new skills and further attempts to better ourselves.

Although the negative impact of the coronavirus is undeniable, it’s not too late to use this time to push for positive changes in your own day to day life.

A skill that it’s definitely not too late to develop is the art of learning to make up your own face – something that could benefit you both in and out of lockdown!

Developing an understanding of the makeup colours and products that work for you can help you to look the part for your weekly Zoom calls or will prepare you for a big return to the restaurant you’ve been missing!

Today, we will be sharing the benefits of learning how to make up your own face like the professionals…

Learn what works

Whether you are constantly fighting the struggle of those orange foundation lines, or you’ve spent endless hours tackling your eyeliner with some cotton pad companions, you can combat these makeup woes by understanding what works for you.

The perfect foundation match is not a mirage – there will be something out there tailored to your needs and learning how to do your own face will leave you with the knowledge required to find it!

Put time aside for YOU

With the consequences of the coronavirus leaving many of us with a well-deserved break from the typical 9-5s, there’s nothing wrong with using the extra time to put yourself first.

Learning to do your own makeup allows you to carve out a part of the day dedicated purely to spending time on yourself. This time spent focusing on your own face provides an easy escapism from screens and devices as well as removing us from the realities of the real world for a while – a break that I’m sure we could all benefit from!

Prepare yourself for the return to normality

With the easing of lockdown restrictions allowing the return of pubs and restaurants, we can only hope that festivals and nights out will only follow suit. In the meantime, perfecting the perfect smoky eye or brow arch will leave you looking your best for the inevitable return to the dancefloor.
